Built in 1892, the Old Thong Chai building is a national monument. It was one of the best known Chinese charity medical centres in Singapore. Traditional Chinese doctors or sinsehs used to dispense free treatment and medicine to patients of all races.

It was bought over by Forever Living Products International (FLP) from the Singapore government for SGD $7 million and an additional SGD $3 million spent on renovating and refurnishing it.

Operating Hours are stated at the main entrance to the building.
